December Release Rollup: Training Module, Issue Delegation, and More
Now that we’ve reached the end of the year, Egnyte is excited to share some new gifts in the form of releases for Egnyte for Life Sciences, Secure and Governance, and the Desktop App. Check out some of the top releases for December below.
Platform
Life Sciences Quality App Training Module. The Training Module is a new optional component for the Egnyte for Life Sciences Quality App. Create, track, and manage training for quality documentation with workflow capabilities, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant digital signatures, and audit records.
Category Managers and Quality App admins can easily create training assignments and view training records. Assignees can view, access, and acknowledge pending, completed, and previously completed training in their own training dashboard. Learn More
Governance
Issue delegation. Delegate issue review and remediation functions to anyone with access to the Issues tab in the Egnyte platform. Simplify the issue remediation process as you delegate to trusted assignees. (Egnyte Enterprise plan required.) Learn More
Content Safeguards. Protect your Egnyte repository from data leaks by restricting public links to sensitive files with Content Safeguards policies. Define policies that block—or just warn—users when they try to send links to files that match the sensitive content, risk score, folder location, or security level restrictions. (Egnyte Enterprise plan required) Learn More
Safety checks on deletion policies. Check the impact of the content lifecycle policy being created in order to prevent the accidental deletion of files not intended to be part of the policy. This new feature will create checkpoints when creating content lifecycle policies that include deletion actions and allow validation of the policy before publishing. (Egnyte Enterprise plan required.) Learn More
Support for new jurisdictions. Compliance support for Russia, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates has been added to meet the specific regulations for these countries. Add these additional jurisdictions in Secure & Govern Settings > Policies. (Egnyte Enterprise plan required.) Learn More
Subject Access Request improvements. Easily respond to Subject Access Requests (SAR) received from clients. Use postal address and phone number identifiers when creating a SAR. (Egnyte Enterprise plan required.) Learn More
Desktop App
